AJYAL: A Programme to Support Arts Education
The application period for the fifth edition of the Ajyal programme concluded in May, with 70 applications eligible for arbitration. The applications were categorized into different artistic fields as follows: theater and performing arts accounted for 32%, music for 46%, visual arts, and architecture for 15%, and cinema for 7%. Additionally, the collaborative edition with Saint Joseph University in Beirut received 19 applications, with 58% applying for a master's degree in cinema and 42% for a master's degree in theater.
In June, the jury will diligently review and assess the applications, and the support beneficiaries will be announced in the latter half of July 2023.
Sanad in The Digital Realm: A Free Space for Defiance
As the deadline for applications to the Sanad Digital Realm 2023 Programme has passed, we would like to share some key details about the eligible applications for the arbitration process from the following countries: Germany (42.85%), Lebanon (28.57%), Syria (23.80%), and other countries (4.76%). On the other hand, the Art Categories varied between Animation Art, Digital Arts, New Media Art, Visual Arts, Filmmaking, Creative Writing, Storytelling, Photography and Video, and Arts Education.
