Entities Supported in the Douroub Programme
The First Training in Beirut: on Institutional Support of Enitites working in the field of Intangible Heritage Protection
Ettijahat launched earlier this year, a framework within the Douroub Programme to support and empower entities in Syria and Lebanon working in the fields of intangible cultural heritage. This component aims to provide institutional support, enhance program design and management expertise, and develop documentation and archiving skills.

A training was held in Beirut over five days, from May 20 to 24, 2024, at the University St. Joseph campus. Another training will take place online in the upcoming months in collaboration with the “Life: Contributions to Support Syrian Cultural Entities” program. This online training will enable participants to connect and network with other entities in the arts and culture field, focusing on planning cultural projects under challenging circumstances. Additionally, each participant will receive tailored mentorship throughout the support.
