Syrian Turkmen in Turkish Exile – A Study of the Problem of Cultural Identity Following the Syrian Crisis 2011

Oct 2019

Ettijahat published one of the research papers completed under the fifth edition of Research: To Strengthen Culture of Knowledge. The research paper is titled Syrian Turkmen in Turkish Exile – A Study of the Problem of Cultural Identity Following the Syrian Crisis 2011 by researcher Hossam El Hassoun.

The research aims to present a general overview of the Syrian Turkmen as an important component of the diverse Syrian cultural landscape and to monitor the changes in their cultural identity while in exile in Turkey. This may contribute to bridging the gap in Arab studies on this important subject, which continues to change within the current Syrian crisis.

The research is part of a series of papers prepared under the fifth edition of the Research Program, where the completed research papers will be published in succession on the Ettijahat website.
