Create Syria: A Space to Explore Arts and Social Change

With the end of the jury evaluations for the 2022 edition of Create Syria, a panel of 3 experts examined 30 valid applications received by Ettijahat.
Below are some indicators of the valid applications:
 
Nationalities: 76% Syrians, 10% Palestinians, 7% Syrian Palestinian, and 7% Other.
Age: 7% Under 25, 40% 25 to 35, 27% 35 to 40, and 17% Above 40.
Countries of residence: 47% living in Syria, 23% in Lebanon, 10% in Palestine, and the others in the UK, Europe, and Turkey.
Artistic and literary genres: Theatre, Visual Arts, Filmmaking, Creative Industries, Storytelling, Photography, Digital Arts, and Performing Arts.
Other disciplines: Creative Economy, Art Therapy, Technology, Cuisine, and Politics.
 
The projects to be supported will be announced by the end of September 2022.

Laboratory of Arts

The jury evaluations for the 2022 edition of the Laboratory of Arts programme has come to an end. Over the past two months, five specialized and independent jury panels examined 129 valid applications, out of a total of 174 received by Ettijahat. 
Below are some indicators of the valid applications:
 
Geographical distribution: 44% Syria, 17% Lebanon, 13% Germany, 7% France, 4% Turkey, and 15% Other countries.
Age: 9% Under 25, 30% 25 to 30, 28% 31 to 35, 12% 36 to 40, and 21% Above 40.
Artistic and literary genres: 27% Creative Writing, 19% Cinema and Animation, 19% Music, 19% Visual arts, and 16% Performing Arts.
 
The projects to be supported will be announced in the third week of September 2022.

AJYAL:  A Programme to Support Arts Education

The jury evaluations for the Fourth Edition of the AJYAL programme have come to an end. Over the past two months, a specialized and independent jury committee examined 29 valid applications, out of a total of 34 received by Ettijahat.
Below are some indicators of the valid applications:
 
Geographical distribution: 77% Syria, 14% Lebanon, 3% Germany, 3% Turkey, and 3% Egypt.
Artistic and literary genres: 51% Performing Arts, 21% Visual arts & Architecture ,15% Cinema and Animation, 6.5% Music, 6.5% Arts Management.
 
The projects to be supported will be announced at the end of September 2022.
