A Look Back on the First Technical Training of MAHARAT Programme in 2021

In 2021 Ettijahat launched the first edition of its technical training programme MAHARAT: Building Careers in Preforming Arts, in partnership with the Drosos Foundation. Over the course of fourteen weeks, 27 participants attended over one hundred and twenty-five hours of theoretical and practical technical training in stage management, sound and lighting techniques, and general skills. Their work was supervised by several experts in cooperation with Saint Joseph University (USJ), the Lebanese American University (LAU), and several art spaces and venues in Lebanon.
